The Voice for the Voiceless

While wet noses, sloppy kisses and wagging tails have the power to heal anything, the world is not short of people who are desperate to destroy this magic.

The best part of my day is coming home to see my cuties wagging their tail in love. The next one hour goes without saying. It is so ghastly to see how one can treat them which so much of cruelty. Well, this one incident proved to me that Cruellas do exist in real life scenarios.

A couple of days ago, there was this video of a dog being mercilessly thrown from a rooftop. The reason so as to why this was taped still remains unknown.

The people behind this brutal incident turns out to be two final year medical students. Now, these people were arrested and given a bail at the same time.

The dog was later found and she suffers from various fractures in her hind legs and spine. They were able to treat her as she was very young. The rescuers have named her Bathra. A special thanks to them, today they have not only saved her but they have also restored the faith in humanity.

According to the prevention of animals act 1960, the convict can get over with all this by paying a fine of RS.50. Is that all it takes to authorize a man to kill a living soul? How can someone be so cruel to the voiceless? Will they be punished? Will they be set free?

Only time can tell. But as far as our little fighter is concerned, she is still full of love.
